Ha studiato cinema e televisione alla UCLA, specializzandosi in recitazione e regia. Dal 1997 al 2001 ha lavorato a Los Angeles come content creator, script scout e membro della troupe sul set.

La passione per il documentario e il bisogno di raccontare storie positive di resilienza umana l'hanno portata a dirigere diversi documentari, tra cui «Rio meu amor». Ha diretto backstage, tra cui quello de «La sconosciuta», vincitore del Dietro le Quinte Film Fest nel 2006.

Ha ideato, scritto e diretto la web series «Kanaga», premiata in numerosi festival internazionali e arrivata al 14° posto della Web Series World Cup 2018. Da 25 anni lavora nel cinema con registi come Giuseppe Tornatore, Luca Guadagnino, Marco Tullio Giordana, Volfango De Biasi, Giorgio Ferrara e Daniele Luchetti.

Driven by a passion for documentaries and the need to tell positive stories of human resilience, she has directed several documentaries, including "Rio meu amor". Directed behind-the-scenes films, including the one for "La sconosciuta", winner of the Dietro le Quinte Film Fest in 2006.

Co-created, wrote and directed the web series "Kanaga", which has won numerous awards at festivals worldwide and ranked #14 in the 2018 Web Series World Cup. Has worked in the film industry for 25 years with directors such as Giuseppe Tornatore, Luca Guadagnino, Marco Tullio Giordana, Volfango De Biasi, Giorgio Ferrara and Daniele Luchetti.

Nato a Istanbul, si è diplomato al Liceo Italiano di Istanbul e ha studiato comunicazione alla Marmara University. Ha iniziato a recitare a sette anni negli spot pubblicitari e a quattordici ha ottenuto il primo ruolo televisivo in «Geçmiş Bahar Mimozaları».

Ha esordito al cinema con «Il bagno turco» di Ferzan Özpetek, vincendo il premio come Miglior Nuovo Attore all'Ankara International Film Festival. Da quasi 30 anni lavora tra cinema e televisione italiani e turchi.

Vive a Roma e porta in FUNQ un ponte tra Italia e Turchia, e l'esperienza di un attore che conosce dall'interno ogni fase di una produzione.

Born in Istanbul, graduated from the Italian High School in Istanbul and studied communications at Marmara University. Started acting at the age of seven in commercials, and at fourteen landed his first TV role in "Geçmiş Bahar Mimozaları".

Made his film debut in Ferzan Özpetek's "Il bagno turco" (Hamam), winning Best New Actor at the Ankara International Film Festival. Has worked for almost 30 years across Italian and Turkish cinema and television.

Based in Rome, he brings to FUNQ a bridge between Italy and Turkey, and the experience of an actor who knows every stage of a production from the inside.
